We are pleased to announce that the annual increment for the year 2014-15 has been sanctioned. All employees on the permanent rolls (other than MT and GT) are eligible for one increment in their respective scales. As per the policy employees who join between 1st April to 30th September will be eligible for increment from 1st April of the next year. Employees who join between 1st October to 31st March will be eligible for increment from 1st October next year subject to the completion of probation period satisfactorily.
The eligibility of an employee for grant of annual increment will be subject to the following:
2. An employee remaining on unauthorized absence from duty or on Leave Without pay for a period of more than 30 days in the immediate preceding financial year will not be eligible for increment.
3. An employee who are placed under suspension or against whom any charge/ disciplinary action are pending/ contemplated will not be eligible for increment.
4. Employees who have resigned and are serving notice period as on date of disbursement will not be eligible for increment.
5. An employee, whose probation has been extended, will be eligible for increment only after confirmation and the date on which the employee is confirmed will be the basis for deciding the date of increment. Employee whose probation is extended will not be eligible for payment of increment for the extended period of probation. As approved earlier the increment cycle will remain as 1st April and 1st October in accordance to the date of joining.
The Grades along with the salary structures are as follows:
Employees, who are eligible for increment on 1st April, 2014 will get their increments along with salary of May, 2014 and those who would become eligible on 1st October will get their increments along with the salary of October, 2014.
